Public elementary teachers in Ontario could see their pay docked, if they withdraw from extracurricular activities next week.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says school boards are seeking the government’s consent to do so, as job action against the province ramps up.
Wynne says she won’t give that permission until November 1st.
She says she hopes between now and then one of two things happen: either agreements are reached, or all job action is stopped as talks continue.
