School Bus Safety At Rail Tracks Reinforced

Safety procedures are being reinforced here at home following this weeks tragedy in Ottawa.
5-bus passengers and a bus driver died when a double decker bus went through a crossing and struck a Via Rail train.
The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium handles all school bus transportation across the district.
Officials say they have strict safety procedures in place.
The Consortium says all drivers must stop, look and listen.
The drivers must also open their doors and look in both directions.
