School Bus Safety Initiative Launched

The Ontario Provincial Police say there’s no excuse to not stop for a school bus.
A new province-wide study reports a majority of drivers keep on driving when bus lights are flashing and their ‘Stop’ sign is out.
The Independent School Bus Operators Association says approximately 150-incidents occur each day.
The OPP say drivers can ensure kids get to and from school safely, by monitoring speeds and avoiding distractions.
