Due to the impending winter storm system, the Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium is cancelling school buses right across the region.
There has already been some rain and freezing rain in the area and school buses are being grounded due to concern over the heavy snow that’s expected to fall this afternoon.
Buses in Dryden, Vermilion Bay, Sioux Lookout, Ear Falls, Red Lake, Kenora, Sioux Narrows, as well as the Upsala to Ignace Highway bus have all been cancelled today, but all schools will remain open.
The local Ignace and Upsala buses are running right now.
