School Buses Not Running; Two Schools Closed

It doesn’t come as much of a surprise this morning that school buses are cancelled across our listening area.
Buses have been grounded in Dryden, Vermilion Bay, Eagle Lake, Red Lake, Ear Falls, Sioux Lookout, Ignace, Kenora, Sioux Narrows and Upsala.
Snow plows are just starting to hit the road to clear up the mess left by yesterday’s storm.
Schools in Eagle Lake First Nation and Wabigoon Lake First Nation are both closed today due to the weather.
All other schools are open.
Handi-Transit bus service is also cancelled in Dryden.
