Schools will be closed when students return from the winter break on January 4.
The province says remote learning for all elementary and high school students will kick-in the new year.
For students in the Northwestern and Thunder Bay District Health Unit catchment areas, in-person instruction can resume on January 11.
For most of Ontario, virtual learning will continue until January 25.
Child care centres will remain open and home-based child care services will remain open.
