Schreiber Diesels Pulling Out of SIJHL

Shocking news out of the SIJHL today as the Schreiber Diesels have
folded.
The League was informed of the decision Sunday night and Commissioner Ron
Whitehead confirms that barring a last minute change of heart by Diesels
Owner Bill MacLauren, Schreiber will no longer play in the league.
Whitehead says MacLauren advised him that he can no longer support the
team financially and added attendance has been down considerably this
season.
There is no word on what the League plans to do with the schedule.
The defending SIJHL champions were supposed to host the Dudley Hewitt
Cup in 2008.
