Schreiber Man Charged With Second Degree Murder

A Schreiber man has been arrested and charged with murder in a Provincial Police homicide investigation that spanned a total of 14 years.

OPP were originally called on November 29th, 2006 to investigate the suspicious death of Jeanine St. Jean at her Quebec Street home in Schreiber.

As a result of a lengthy investigation under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch, OPP have charged 44-year-old Nicholas Stasula with second degree murder.

He’s in custody and is due in court on Friday.
