The Thunder Bay Police Service has declared an end to the search for 36-year-old Kelsey Anderson, who was declared missing earlier in May.

In a statement, Anderson’s family confirmed that he had been located and thanked the public for its assistance with the search:

“The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all of the organizations, volunteers, and individuals who assisted in the search efforts for Kelsey. Your support, compassion, and dedication during this difficult time will never be forgotten,” read one part of the statement.
