Search for Christina Calayca Called Off

Police say a second search for a Toronto woman missing in Northwestern
Ontario was to have begun this week, but has been called off due to bad
weather.
Provincial police spokeswoman Sgt. Deb Tully says search organizers
were forced to put the brakes on their plan late last week as light snow
fell across the region.
Tully, who was not authorized to release details about the proposed
search for 20-year-old Christina Calayca, couldn’t say if police would mount
another effort before winter sets in.
Calayca was last seen on the morning of August. 6 during a camping trip
with some friends at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park, east of thunder bay.
