Search For Outside Consultant For T3PS

Out of office efforts to help the Treaty Three Police Service.
Police Board Chair Eli Mandamin says the force will seek a consultant to look at various issues including the search for a new police chief.
Madamin says the board will also be meeting with the Federal and Provincial governments next month in an effort to gain additional funding.
Earlier this year the police service laid off a number of officers, slashed benefits, and issued 45 day lay-off notices due to a lack of funding.
The board will meet again in January and set out a 6 month mandate towards a sustainable long term business model.
