Search For Suspects Ends Without Incident In Hudson

Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout have four young people in custody following an incident Monday morning involving a knife wielding suspect.
A Second Street homeowner in Hudson heard noises in her front yard around 5:50 in the morning. She went to the front door and came face-to-face with a suspect brandishing a knife.
The other suspects fled the scene.
The woman’s boyfriend followed the suspects and updated police as they ran into the bush in an effort to elude officers.
With help from the canine unit, all four were eventually arrested around 8:30.
The OPP Emergency Response Team set up a perimeter in the area to protect residents and locate the teens but police believe it was an isolated incident.
OPP say the same group had broken into at least one home in Hudson and a vehicle was damaged.
Police say it’s expected that roughly 20-charges will be laid against two males and one female and stress their investigation is ongoing.
