Search Is On for Person Who Abandoned Moose Carcass

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking public help to identify the person responsible for shooting and abandoning a bull moose northwest of Sioux Lookout.

Last Friday, Conservation Officers discovered the dead animal on the Vermillion River Road, near Kilometre marker 145.

The nose and tongue were removed while the rest of the carcass was left behind.

The body was covered in brush it an attempt to prevent it from being found.
