A 39 year old Red Lake man remains behind bars on drug and firearm charges following an investigation into drug trafficking in that community.
Through the course of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a Red Lake home on February 17th, there officers located an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, ammunition and discovered evidence of drug trafficking.
The accused faces:
- One count – Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- One count – Fail to Comply with Probation Order, contrary to the Criminal Code
- Two counts – Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order, contrary to the Criminal Code;
They were held for a bail hearing hand were further remanded into custody.
