Seatbelt Blitz Over in Northwestern Ontario

OPP across Northwestern Ontario have wrapped up the ‘Spring Seatbelt Campaign’.
During the 12-day blitz, officers across the Region checked more than 35,000 vehicles.
A total of 225-charges were laid.
51-passengers were caught for not buckling up and 8-tickets were issued to drivers for not having a properly installed child restraint.
