The Second Chance Pet Network believes it has the perfect gift for you to fill a stocking this holiday season.
Fundraising raffle tickets are now being sold, with prizes totalling $10,000, $5,000 and $2,000.
There’s also a fourth place prize of a special 80×80 homemade quilt.
The deadline to pick up a ticket is coming up quick as the draw will be made on December 8th.
They are available from Second Chance volunteers and at several Dryden businesses.
Volunteer Cynthia Seitz was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Thursday and she says all proceeds support programs and services offered by the Animal Shelter.
Seitz says the money covers vet bills and the fostering of animals including food and supplies when families pick-up an animal.
She adds it goes towards spay and neuter programs, vaccinations as well as the care and feeding of the their 126 cats and some puppies and dogs that come in.
