Second Place Finish for Mota and Oakes

The fishing was great for two Balmertown residents at the prestigious Walleye Tournament in Russell, Manitoba.
Fred Mota and Chris Oakes were among 118-teams competing in the 2-day event.
After Day 1, Mota and Oakes were sitting in third place with a total weight of 11.14-pounds.
On the final day, the team placed second after catching 16.90-pounds of walleye, finishing just .54 behind the winner.
