A 72-year-old man from southern Ontario faces a number of drug charges after being pulled over by Provincial Police on Highway 17A.
Last Thursday around 1:40pm, Ronald Roche of Bracebridge was stopped and police seized about 50 pounds of marijuana.
The estimated street value of the drugs is roughly $125,000.
OPP say Roche has been charged with:
-Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling
-Possession for the Purpose of Distributing
-Possession of over 30g Dried Cannabis (or equivalent) in a Public Place.
His vehicle was seized as part of the investigation.
Roche is due in Kenora Court on February 27th.
