Sentencing in Beating Death Set for February

Two Thunder Bay women will be sentenced February 15th in the beating death of a Big Trout Lake First Nation woman.
Patricia Sturgeon died in a Thunder Bay hotel room last September.
Court heard the horrific details Wednesday where the 30-year-old was repeatedly kicked, punched and stomped on in an alcohol fueled attack.
The Prosecution is seeking a 10-12 year jail term, while the Defense is calling for a 2-year sentence.
Joanne Vivier and Michelle Morris have both apologized to the family of the victim.
