Provincial Police have arrested a 21 year old Red Lake man following a serious assault.
The incident happened last Friday night along Highway 105 in Red Lake.
When officers arrived, Northwest Emergency Medical Services were already treating the victim for injuries sustained in the attack.
The accused was arrested without incident a short distance away.
OPP say Nicholas Magel faces one count of aggravated assault.
Reports say the victim was from Kenora but no name has been released.
