Canada Post is announcing service reductions due to rotating
strikes by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.
Staffing levels at mail sorting plants are being trimmed.
As well, many letter carriers will only work three days a week; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The two sides in the dispute are still talking.
But little, if any, progress is reported at the bargaining
table.
Today, (Thursday) the union is setting up picket in 13 communities, including Thunder Bay.
