A new program is underway in Wabigoon for seniors looking to get ahead when it comes to technology.
The Building Our Futures Program goes on every Tuesday from 11:30-2:30 as well as Thursday from 1:00-4:00 at the Wabigoon Memorial Hall.
Volunteer Program Manager Arlene Williams says the goal of the program is teaching seniors how to use their smart phone, tablet and laptop.
Williams adds they will offer advice on utilizing search engines.
She says the program is individually based, so it’s not in a classroom setting.
The program is available for seniors 50 and up.
For more details on the program call Arlene at 938-0051.
