Several Communities Benefiting From Celebrate Canada Funding

A financial spark for Canada Day activities in several area communities.

The Federal government is out with funding for July 1st celebrations in Dryden, ($2,000), Ear Falls ($1,600), Ignace ($1,000) and Wabigoon ($1,000).

Sachigo Lake First Nation also received $7,000 for Canada Day and National Aboriginal Day activities.

Wabigoon Lake First Nation is receiving $5,000 for Celebration Unity activities.

The Red Lake Heritage Centre is benefiting from $1,500 for its Passport to Culture event.
