The notice covers the Vermilion Bay, Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Ignace area.
Conditions will be favourable for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.
Damaging winds and large hail will be the main threats.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
