So far, it’s a ‘watch’ rather than a ‘warning,’ but Environment Canada is warning of a system tracking from Manitoba and into our area.
Forecasters are watching a line of severe thunderstorms tracking eastward from Manitoba, and say storms are possible beginning early this evening and the threat continues until late this evening. Wind gusts near 90 kilometres per hour are possible.
Communities under the ‘watch’ include Kenora, Fort Frances, Dryden, Vermilion Bay, Red Lake, Ignace, English River and Upsala.
