The Ontario Court of Appeal has upheld the sexual assault conviction of a 38-year-old Dryden man.
Lawrence Garon and another man were charged in February 2005 for sexually assaulting a woman at a local Hotel.
Garon was convicted the following year and he immediately appealed the decision.
Garon was sentenced to 2-years less a day for the offence and will now have to register with Ontario Sex Offender Registry.
The co-accused was sentenced to 9-months.
