It’s still not business as usual at the SGS Mining Research Facility in Red Lake.
A transition plan has been implemented after an explosion destroyed a lab at the Plant earlier this month.
Company Spokesperson Russ Calow says they have been sending samples to Sudbury and Southern Ontario which has resulted in unavoidable delays for Goldcorp and other clients.
Calow notes they could be sending samples to Winnipeg in the coming days which should accelerate the test process.
He says there have been no job losses as a result of the explosion.
