A series of free information sessions for commercial
vehicle drivers will be held across the Northwest.
OPP Sgt. Rod Brown will be updating truckers on the new
daily inspections regulations legislation.
Currently drivers have to check 27 items on their truck
each day before setting out on the road.
Brown says starting January 1st they’ll be required to
do a more thorough inspection.

The new legislation includes changes to administrative
work, drivers will be required to sign their inspection
paperwork, even if they had a mechanic check their vehicle.

Frances next week.
