MacKinnon says his main priority is keeping taxes low and attracting more people and business to the community.
He adds another priority is caring for our seniors, and points to the need to move forward with a new housing complex for seniors.
MacKinnon feels he could be a leader in the community and believes the City has a lot of work to do to bring it back to where it was.
He says he can get Council and staff to work together and notes all opinions must be respected in order to move forward.
