Shirley Allison

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Mom, Shirley Allison at Ignace, Ontario, on Monday, December 13, 2004. Left to cherish her memory are her children Marilyn Hudec of Elliot Lake, Herb Allison, Sharon Derouard, Bryan Allison, Len Allison all of Kenora, and Korenia Allison of Ignace, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters Albert Groves, Dot Hertz, Bea Hamlyn, Bill Groves, Moe Groves, Vera Duthie and Nellie Walsh, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held on Thursday, December 16th at 2;00 p.m. in the Gospel Church in Ignace with Mr. Ralph Arndt officiating. Interment of ashes will take place in the spring of 2005 in the Sioux Lookout Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Stevens Funeral Homes “Moffat Chapel” Box 412, Dryden, Ontario.
