Two Wisconsin hunters have been convicted of charges related to illegal deer hunting in the Dryden area.
Dennis Majewski is being ordered to pay $2,500 and Sean Meier $1,000 for hunting at night.
Court heard that the men were driving on a road north of Dryden last November, an hour after the legal hunting time.
One of the men parked his truck in the middle of the road, used his lights to illuminate a deer standing in the ditch, while the other man got out and shot the buck.
However, the hunters were tricked, as the Ministry of Natural Resources set up a buck deer decoy and officers arrested them at the scene.
