Jacob Nolan was the hero as he scored the winner in a shootout to lift the Sioux Lookout Flyers to a 5-4 win over the Fort Frances Lakers Wednesday.
The Flyers jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with goals from Jacob Brown, Chris Hoffman and Brandon Wur.
Fort Frances would reply with 2-goals before Bryan Broders found the back of the net.
The Lakers scored two in the third to send the game into overtime and a shootout, before Nolan finally ended it.
Jayme Brattengeier was sensational in between the pipes making 45-saves for the win.
