Shoplifting Only the Beginning

A 19-year-old man couldn’t escape Dryden Police following a shoplifting incident last Friday evening.
City Police were contacted after the suspect allegedly pushed the store manager and ran off.
Officers located the accused about 2-hours later on Whyte Avenue involved in a fight.
Police learned that he had assaulted a female.
Gavin Anderson has been charged in connection with the shoplifting incident and the altercation on Whyte Avenue as well as 2-counts of breaching conditions of a release order.
