Fire crews are slowing gaining the upper hand on a 12-hundred hectare fire in the Rugby Lake-Amesdale area.
Dave Jackson, with the Ministry of Natural Resources says residents in the Wickens Lake area, Wickens Lake Lodge, the Hamlet of Richan, and Richan Road can return to their homes.
However, Jackson says its still not safe for those in Amesdale and Little Amesdale to return home.
Friday night, The MNR issued a warning that area residents should evacuate the area.
The blaze is one of 17 in Northwestern Ontario sparked by last weeks thunderstroms.
Already, 81-fires have been reported in Northwestern Ontario this season.
