Shorthanded Paperkings Still Take Home Silver

A silver medal for the Dryden Holiday Inn ‘AA’ Bantam Paperkings over the weekend.
Dryden competed in the 8-team Morris, Manitoba Showcase Tournament.
The Paperkings lost a tightly contested gold medal game 3-1 to the Southwest ‘AAA’ Cougars.
Joel Zieroth scored Dryden’s lone goal.
All in all it was a successful weekend for the team.
Dryden only skated 10-players due to illness and injury and 9 of the players ended up in the top 20 in points for the Tournament.
The Paperkings didn’t lose a game leading up to the Final.
