There’s been some calls for Ontario to make November 11th a statutory holiday for all residents.
Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle says it’s a special day and feels it’s reflected in our local school system, since youth participate in Remembrance Day activities within their schools.
Gravelle says it’s an issue that comes up every Remembrance Day and says there are those that would say if it’s made a stat there are some that might not pay tribute to our soldiers.
