Shy-Anne Hovorka Wins Big Awards

In entertainment news, truly amazing talent was recognized last night at the 2nd day of the Aboriginal People’s Choice Music Awards in Winnipeg. Shy-Anne Hovorka won another 3 awards. Best Country CD – Interwoven Roots, Single of The Year – The Glue – which she sang at the awards show and Shy-Anne also picked up the win for Female Entertainer of The Year. Shy-Anne won in all 6 categories that she was nominated in. Thursday night Shy-Anne received the awards for Best Music Video for “Too Young, Too Late”, Best Produced Album and Best Album Design for “Interwoven Roots”. Hovorka, who grew up in Red Lake and now resides in the Thunder Bay area was featured on the CKDR Morning Show on Thursday before the awards.
