Sidney Gladue Named SIJHL Time Out Sports Player Of The Week

English River Miners forward Sidney Gladue has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.

The 20-year-old forward from Alberta produced five points in two games last weekend to help the Miners sweep the first place Thunder Bay North Stars.

His big game came on Sunday with two goals, including the game-winner, and two assists.

Gladue is riding a four-game point streak and sits tied for third in league scoring with 10-points.

He leads the league in game winning goals with two.

The Miners are off Friday night, but travel to Fort Frances Saturday to face the Lakers for the second time this season.

Dryden’s Braedyn Aubin also received consideration.
