The City of Dryden says it has made its point.
Council has agreed to pay the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation nearly $189,000 it owes.
Council decided in April 2013 to withhold $79,000 due to a lack of services rendered from MPAC and also called on the province to address major delivery issues regarding the organization.
Chief Administrative Officer Andre Larabie says they have made significant headway since that time.
Larabie says MPAC has promised to notify the City on any assessment changes to the Domtar Mill as well as other businesses and property.
The City says late notification on the reassessment of the Domtar Mill put the municipality in a financial bind.
