Signs Warning Swimmers Now a Permanent Thing

The Northwestern Health Unit will soon post permanent signs at area beaches to warn swimmers of the potential of bacteria in the waters.
Officials currently issue warnings after water tests confirm high levels of bacteria in area lakes.
But, Medical Officer of Health Doctor James Arthurs says the situation often changes by the time results come back from a lab in Thunder Bay.
Arthurs says the permanent signs are a preventative measure.
