SIJHL 2008 Award Winners

The Dryden Ice Dogs finished first in the SIJHL, but failed to pick up any of the major awards.
The league has announced its 2008 award winners, with Fort Frances Forward Quinn Amiel picking up MVP honours.
The Best Defenceman Award went to Thunder Bay Bearcats blueliner Brad Pawlowski, while Drew Strandberg of the Bulldogs was named Top Goalie.
Rookie of the Year honours went to Mitch Cain of Fort Frances, Most Improved Jared Saunders of Schreiber and Coach of the Year Wayne Strachan of Fort Frances.
Dryden was recognized with Nicolas Doiron as Top Scorer and Grahame Harrington with the Scholarship Award.
