Ryan McGill scored twice in a losing cause as the Fort William North Stars dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to the Abitibi Eskimos Wednesday at the Dudley Hewitt Cup.
Travis Savard also found the back of the net for the Stars, who fall to 1-1.
Fort William outshot the Northern Ontario champs 39-19.
In other action, the Oakville Blades improved to 2-0 with a 3-1 win over the host Thunderbirds.
