SIJHL Hockey Makes Debut In Lac Seul

The Superior International Junior Hockey League heads to Lac Seul tonight for a regular season game.
The Dryden Ice Dogs take on the English River Miners in the showcase game.
The game will be played at the new state-of-the-art 1,300 seat Lac Seul Arena.
The arena features an NHL-size ice surface, conference centre, restaurant and convenience store.
Dryden will serve as the home team in the contest.
Only 5-points separate the two teams with the Ice Dogs sitting ahead of the Miners with 25-points.
The Miners have four games in hand on Dryden.
The Ice Dogs have won three of their past four, while the Miners have picked up 11 out of a possible 12 points in their last six games.
Game time is 7:30 and CKDR will have the call starting at 7:15.
