The Superior International Junior Hockey League has a new commissioner.
Thunder Bay’s Bryan Graham has accepted the job.
Graham is a long-time official in junior, senior and professional hockey and served as Vice-President and Director of Officiating of the ECHL for 5-years.
The current broadcaster returned to the Lakehead and joined the Thunder Bay Border Cats baseball team as assistant general manager.
Graham takes over from Ron Whitehead who served as President and Commissioner for most of the league’s 14-year history.
Dryden Ice Dogs General Manager Brian Bates says Graham is a great fit for the SIJHL and they are excited about the future.
