SIJHL Player of October

The Superior International Junior Hockey League has named its player of the month for October.
Fort Frances Lakers captain Tyler Stevenson received the honour.
The 20-year-old from Edmonton fired 15-goals and chipped in with 5-assists during a 16-game period, which included a handful of games in September.
Stevenson went on a stretch with goals in 8-straight games and led all players in power play markers with 10.
Sioux Lookout’s Chase Dobranski and Dryden’s Ian Perrier received honourable mention.
