The Superior International Junior Hockey League’s new season gets underway Friday.
There’s some small changes this season with the Wisconsin Wilderness moving from Spooner, Wisconsin to Cloquet, Minnesota.
President Ron Whitehead says travel time will be cut down.
Whitehead says the Dryden Ice Dogs have shown some improvement in exhibition games, while the other teams seem solid.
Whitehead says the only team that’s a question mark is the Thunder Bay North Stars.
The North Stars are expected to announce their new head coach at their first home game.
The SIJHL has also launched a new website at www.sijhl.com
