SIJHL Schedule and New Coach

The Dryden Ice Dogs will open the 2006 campaign on the road September
16th against the Thunder Bay Bearcats.
The new look SIJHL will feature a 50-game schedule with some regular
season games being played in Atikokan and White River.
The first time fans can catch the Dogs at home is September 22nd
against long-time rival Fort William North Stars.
Meanwhile, the League’s new entry Marathon Renegades have introduced
the franchises first Head Coach.
50-year-old Ray Miller will be behind the bench this season.
Miller was the first Head Coach of the Marathon Junior ‘B’ Renegades of
the old North of Superior Junior League and also has coaching experience in
Thompson, Manitoba and Selkirk.
