The Dryden GM Ice Dogs and English River Miners will both be in action on the opening weekend of the new SIJHL season.
The Ice Dogs host the Thunder Bay North Stars for a two game set starting on September 18th.
They will then head to Fort Frances on the 25th for the home opener of the defending champion Lakers.
The Miners open the season with four a four game homestand starting on the 18th.
They will host Minnesota in Ear Falls on the Friday and again Saturday in Cochenour.
The first time the Ice Dogs and Miners do battle is September 26th at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
