For 40 minutes it was looking like the Dryden GM Ice Dogs would be returning home with a 2-0 series lead, but the Fort Frances Lakers used the intermission to finally find a working formula on a stingy Dogs defence.
Roshen Jaswal scored 25 seconds into the third period and Dylan Robertson would score the winner five minutes later as the Lakers came from behind to beat the Ice Dogs 2-1 last night in Fort Frances.
Joe Carney gave Dryden GM the lead with a powerplay goal 1:13 into the game.
The Ice Dogs outshot the Lakers 40-30.
Dryden GM still maintains home ice advantage and they will look to capitalize starting Tuesday evening at the Memorial Arena.
