The Dryden Fire Service is again urging homeowners to install a carbon monoxide detector.
Fire Chief Ken Kurz says the reminder comes after a tragic incident in Brampton where three people died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
3-people died including a 59-year-old woman, her 60-year-old husband and their 36-year-old son.
Kurz calls it a very serious problem noting firefighters often respond to carbon monoxide calls here at home.
The province of Ontario passed a bill in late 2013 that made carbon monoxide detectors mandatory in most Ontario homes.
